Distribution Transformers

Distribution transformer is an electrical transformer that is used to carry electrical energy from a primary distribution circuit to a secondary distribution circuit. Low in power consumption and highly durable and reliable, our distribution transformers have most advanced and versatile design. These transformers are strictly quality tested on various parameters

Core type distribution transformer for industrial application is available in 3 or 1 phase version with primary voltages of up to 33 KV and secondary voltages ranging from 433 to 11000 V. The capacity range is up to 10000 KVA. We provide single phase distribution transformers and three phase distribution transformers. Transformers are available with 'Tap Changer' options as well as "Off Circuit Manually Operated" and "On Load Tap Changer" (OLTC) with AVR and RTCC panel.

Rectifier Transformers
Rectifying transformers are suitable for 6 or 12 pulse operation with options of different winding connections on primary & secondary windings with or without inter phase transformer. The capacity ranges up to 10 KA DC with primary voltage up to 33 KV.

It is used in metallurgic and chemical procedures, Rectifier transformers (also called furnace transformers) are used for their power to support the current in an extreme short-circuit. The rectifier circuit used in most electronic power supplies is the single-phase bridge rectifier with capacitive filtering, usually followed by a linear voltage regulator.

Power Transformers

Power transformers upto 63 MVA and 132 KV class are regularly manufactured and supplied. to the international markets as per various international standards.
These are applied to development, manufacture, installation and commissioning of power transformers for power stations, transformers stations and auxiliary plants for generating stations, special transformers for industry and transport, reactors and accessories.

Reactors Transformers

Reactors transformers are provided with air cored magnetically shielded or non-magnetically shielded for series/shunt application up to 2 MVAR in voltage class up to 33 KV available in ONAN type. Air cored non-shielded air-cooled type reactors with F/H class insulation for series application is also available in single or three phase construction up to 1 MVAR in voltage class up to 33 KV.

Isolation Transformers

An Isolation Transformer is 1:1 ratio transformer. It has a copper foil shielding in between primary and secondary winding.

 
Advantages
It protects the output load from spikes or any other noise occurs in the main supply. The spikes being high voltage transient should not be allowed to enter the load as it may damage the precious equipments. The other purpose of this isolation transformer is to minimize the neutral floating current and give pure output voltage.

Furnace Transformers

We offer furnace transformers for arc furnace/ submerged arc furnace/ induction furnace applications with capacity of 10 MVA and primary voltage up to 33 KV class. The secondary voltages suit furnace specifications with 6 and 12 pulse operations.

Converter Duty Transformers

The materials used in the manufacturing of the Voltage Converter Transformers are of optimum quality that further ensures notable features like high durability and resistivity to various non-supportive conditions like rust and abrasion.

This product is used as set up transformer from generator to line voltage. It has a range up to 10 MVA with the voltage capacity of up to 33 KV. It is s very durable and hassle free to be used by desired clients. It comes with an automatic on/off cooling option. One of the main differences from other types of transformers is that the load currents contain higher harmonics due to the distorted waveform. The converter to the transformer causes the distorted current waveform. This has to be considered current leads to higher losses & temperatures in the transformer. Network regulations also require reduction of harmonic distortion.

Earthing Transformers

Earthing up to 2 MVA – 33 kV - Earthing transformers are used to create a neutral

point in a three-phase system, which provides possibility for neutral earthing. The earthing can be through an arc-suppression reactor, a neutral earthing reactor or resistor or directly. Earthing transformers are usually oil immersed and may be installed outdoor. In cases where a separate reactor is connected between the transformer neutral and earth, the reactor and the transformer can be incorporated in the same tank.

Neutral earthing transformers are normally provided in 3-phase system, which is without neutral and earth fault protection.
